About Us
Megan Taylor Foundation

This foundation is a newly formed non-profit organization based in Westminster,
MD, named in honor of Megan Marie Taylor. Megan was a 17-year-old high school
senior that was tragically killed in an automobile accident in December of 2003.
Megan was a kind spirit who had aspirations of becoming a elementary teacher.
She was an honor roll student and a star athlete. She is greatly missed by her
family, friends, and community. One of the foundation’s hopes is to honor her by
helping the children that she never got the opportunity to help herself. The Megan
Taylor Foundation will enable children that would never be able to afford
extracurricular activities. The foundation intends to target children from 1st
through 8th grade in Carroll County. These children will be granted money to join
activities on a needs basis. Any interested participants will be asked to contact the
foundation through a letter, application, or by referral. Along with this program,
The Megan Taylor Foundation will be aligning with several other charities
throughout Carroll County.
In order for achieve this goal, the foundation has begun several fundraisers in the
community, in addition to these fundraisers we are reaching out to you to help this
cause, by asking for monetary support.
